UltraSense and UConnect: how the reading reaches the app
A disc under the cylinder, a box on the wall, and the gas level on the phone. Here is the path of a reading.
UltraSense is a small disc placed under the cylinder. It sends sound through the steel and listens for the echo from the surface of the gas. It never touches the gas.
UConnect is the box in the home. It receives the reading over Bluetooth and sends it over the mobile network, with no Wi-Fi. When the network drops, it keeps the readings and sends them when it returns.
The MyGaz app then shows the level and estimates the days left at the family's pace. One tap orders the refill.
The household installs nothing: the agency's technician fits and pairs the devices at the first delivery.
