Why we connect the gas cylinder
The household gas cylinder sits at the heart of cooking in Africa, and nobody knows how much is left in it. We want to change that.

In a Yaoundé home, the gas cylinder always runs out at the wrong moment: in the middle of a meal, on a Sunday evening, when the depot is closed.
The household cannot see what is left. The agency does not know who will call. The distributor and the marketer do not know where their cylinders are once they leave the depot.
MyGaz connects these links. A sensor under the cylinder reads the level, a box in the home sends it, and everyone sees what concerns them: the household its gas, the agency its orders, the industry its rotations.
We are starting in Yaoundé with a pilot network. The network is designed to grow across Africa.
